The installation of corrosion resistant coatings will extend the life of your equipment, and is the best option in certain cases. Occasionally, the corrosion is so severe the best alternative is to line your baghouse with stainless steel or even to replace the equipment completely. Each project will be provided a tailored solution.
If a corrosion resistant coating is found to be the optimal solution, then PENTA will utilize state of the art technologies to address the corrosion.
The corrosion resistant coatings effectively resist the following:
- Corrosion caused by attack from SO2, SO3, HCl, NOx, and CO2in moist and low pH environments
- Corrosion in high temperature environments with normal operating temperatures up to 1100°F
- Undercut corrosion: Strong bonding to the substrate ensures localized mechanical damage will not cause system failure
- Thermal shock: The corrosion resistant coatings mirror the thermal expansion/contraction of the substrate they are bonded to
- Fine particle abrasion
